HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Having been in the tea industry for three generations, we felt that visitors to the Nilgiris, deserved a holistic  experience while at Ooty and hence, the introduction of the Tea Factory and Tea Museum in 2005, at high elevation settings, near Doddabetta peak, which offers tourists a tea manufacturing insight, first hand, along with a history of tea.  With over a million visitors annually, and with their feedback we took the initiative to launch Eagles Dare Adventures, Ooty which took shape in early 2016, bringing adventure sport activity to the Nilgiris... Eagles Dare has the tallest adventure tower in South India and offers zipline, sky bridge, bungee swing, rappelling and wall climbing, among other interesting adventure activities. Today, in its third successful year, Eagles Dare, after engaging with over 1 lac visitors has started a unique Mountaineering Institute, the Sardar Patel Institute of Mountaineering (SPIM) which offers a variety of mountaineering courses with a key program, An Introduction To Mountaineering.
